WEB DEVELOPER & DESIGNER – INTERNSHIP
Position: Web Developer & Designer (1)
Status: Internship – Unpaid (w/option of college credit) – 5-10 hours a week
Time Frame: minimum of 5-6 months commitment

General Description:
Working as part of Communications & Design team, the Web Developer & Designer will assist in the design, programming, and production of new and updated web content; he/she will also build and maintain search engine optimization (SEO) of AjA’s website.
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining SEO of AjA’s current website
- Creating and programming web components of agency’s fundraising and marketing campaigns
- Designing templates for AjA’s online multimedia gallery
Requirements:
- Proficiency with XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Flash (a plus) and Photoshop
- Advanced knowledge and experience with SEO and keyword analysis
- Familiarity with interactive website design and development
- Ability to ensure total site functionality on all supported browsers and platforms
- Familiarity with Mac environment and a basic knowledge of PC / Windows for cross-browser testing
- Excellent problem solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
