VIDEO PRODUCTION ARTIST– INTERNSHIP
Position: Video Production Artist (1)
Status: Internship – Unpaid (w/option of college credit) – 5-10 hours a week
Time Frame: minimum of 5-6 months commitment

General Description:
Working as a part of the Communications & Design team, the Video Production Artist will create promotional and educational short videos, and audiovisual content to be displayed at AjA exhibits, events and on the agency’s website.
Responsibilities:
- Produce multimedia content using video, audio and photography that promotes the organization’s programs and mission
- Assist in video shooting and audio recording (e.g. configuring lighting and sound, and
operating camera) - Develop interactive features with Flash for The AjA Project website
- Archive and maintain the agency’s existing audio/video materials
- Work collaboratively with AjA students to better integrate student experiences within
the agency’s promotional efforts
Requirements:
- Experience and skills in all aspect of video production including pre-production, videography, lighting, sound, editing, and post-production
- Advanced knowledge of Apple Final Cut Studio and Flash in producing motion graphics
- Hands-on experience with Photoshop to create on-screen graphics and title screens
- Good technical skills with cameras, lighting and sound recording
- Prior experience working with youth (middle and high school)
